Tzvi was a member of the movement’s leadership. He gave assistance to the refugees from Slovakia and Poland who arrived in Hungary. He dealt with the tiyul. He was caught by the Hungarian secret police and interrogated. He stayed in the Garany detention camp for a year. After the invasion of Hungary on 19.3.1944, Tzvi was one of those who were in favour of members of the movement going underground, mainly comrades born in Hungary.
Tzvi made aliya in 1947. He completed his doctorate in sociology. He is a member of Kibbutz Metzuba.
